First time hiring for the week as a prelude to purchasing one. At over £1k for the week the Van was presented in less than acceptable condition, fuel not full, unusable awning, mould and spillages in fridge/ freezer, dirty TV and remote, broken USB points, tv Arial and cab radio. Appalling utensil provision, 1 pan, chipped and stained mugs, rusty can opener and 1 knife all in a grubby plastic container. Hired the picnic set to allow us to eat out, 2 chairs and a coffee table a picnic set does not make! Still awaiting response to these issues, a small refund has been made for fuel. I have waited a month before posting this review to give time for an adequate response. We have bought a motorhome but not from this company! Hired early july still no response to our follow up e mail as of Sept. Appalling customer service.
The customer service at Prestoncm was fantastic. Katie was polite and helpful showing us how everything on the motorhome worked so we left the site feeling confident on our first motorhome venture. We stayed at an adults only site just outside of Conwy which was very well maintained and has fantastic views across the bay. The only problem was that the site is close to the A55 so there is always some traffic noise. The motorhome was fantastic, clean, spacious and well maintained. We really enjoyed our break and would use Prestoncm again.
